A naturopathic doctor and clinic director faced the unique challenge of transforming a former frozen yogurt shop into a functional and inviting clinic. The space, characterized by limited windows and a narrow layout, required a creative design approach to accommodate a comprehensive list of needs for various treatments and modalities.

The Design Solution:
Decca Design adeptly reconfigured the space to include a series of consult and exam rooms, a rear access staff room, a washroom, and ample storage. Special attention was given to the installation of an infrared sauna, complete with shower facilities, catering to specific treatment requirements. A dedicated IV treatment lab for preparation and a comfortable lounge setting for administering treatments were also key components of the design. The reception and operational areas were minimized to maximize treatment and consultation spaces. The design strategically utilized the available natural light, focusing it on the reception area, the clinic director’s office, and the treatment lounge. The layout and interior design elements were carefully chosen to make the space feel private, warm, and welcoming, creating an ideal environment for patient care and comfort.
