The electrical rough-in has begun.
Like most homes built in the 80’s the main source of light for each room was a single fixture in the middle of the room. A priority for the homeowners is to add lots of light to each room. We are starting to add pot lights in the kitchen in relation to the overhead decorative hood fan. You can see here the locations of the blocking for the future fan. Shallow pans will be the final destination of the clear glass pendants either side of the central island. Theses fixtures are currently on order.
It is exciting to add lights, power and data to upgrade the spaces and ensure they have the requirements the family needs.
