The Design Solution:
11000 square feet under roof. A separate entrance and barn for the large animal services and the balance meeting the operation and small animal needs. An attached garage for the service vehicles and shelter from inclement weather. Six animal exam rooms including a comfort room with close exterior access for those emotional escapes. Treatment area with a fish bowl central core to easily observe the activities in the treatment area. Xray, dentistry, sterilization and a surgical suite all off of the main area. Crowd control is mitigated with a separate window to service the pharmacy needs of the visitors and an internal window for the collection of prescriptions for the small animal exams. Staff areas to support their needs are very important to the daily operations with staff animal housing, exercise area, kitchen, outdoor BBQ, large eating are that also doubles as a conference space to host public education events. Finishes that are durable and will withstand the rigorous cleaning. Large reception area to separate the cat and dog clients. Retail component. Three full time greeters at the front desk. A variety of storage needs.
