Pomegranate Salad


  • 4 cups mixed salad greens (e.g., spinach, arugula, lettuce)
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinaigrette dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Start by washing and drying the mixed salad greens. You can use a pre-packaged salad mix or create your own combination of greens.
  2. In a large salad bowl, combine the salad greens, pomegranate seeds, crumbled feta cheese, chopped nuts, and thinly sliced red onion.
  3. Drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette dressing over the salad. You can adjust the amount of dressing to your taste, but start with 1/4 cup and add more if needed.
  4. Gently toss the salad ingredients together until everything is well coated with the dressing.
  5. Season the salad with a pinch of salt and a dash of freshly ground black pepper. Adjust the seasoning to your preference.
  6. Serve the pomegranate salad immediately as a side dish or as a light and refreshing appetizer.
