As a dog, I must admit that furniture selection in our home greatly impacts my daily life. There are certain do’s and don’ts that humans should consider to ensure a harmonious living environment for us furry companions.
Firstly, do opt for pet-friendly materials that are durable and easy to clean; this way, you won’t worry about my muddy paws leaving a lasting mark or my fur balls everywhere. Avoid delicate fabrics or intricate designs that could be easily damaged by playful pups like me.
Secondly, do provide comfortable and cozy spots where I can rest and feel safe, like a designated dog bed or a soft rug. Please avoid selecting furniture with sharp edges or protruding elements that could pose risks of injury to us or cause damage to our wagging tails. My preference is tucked in the corner under a chair. Makes me feel safe and I am always close by.
Lastly, make sure you leave space for me to travel around and not knock over your favorite family heirlooms or your coffee cup on the low table. I can’t always control my tail.
Remember, a well-thought-out furniture selection ensures a happy and content furry friend in your home!
