Dental Interior Designers Transform a Commercial Space into a Bold Red Deer Dental Clinic
The Challenge:
To launch a new 2400 square foot dental practice in the growing north east corner of Red Deer. The new clinic would be completely digital requiring 9 operatories, sterilization, lab, staff facilities and patient waiting areas. There was experience and wisdom from a current successful clinic to be woven into this new location. While still working at the current clinic the meetings would need to be concise, informative and move the project along at a quick pace. Regular review of both the drawings and finishes would complete the tender package in a timely manner and construction could began. Along with an understanding of modifications and improvements, learnt from the previous build out and years of experience using of the space, to be incorporated into the new clinic, was a unique endearing personality.

The Design Solution:
A daring, bold environment that makes a statement was the overall vision for this clinic. A visit to this dental office is never boring! Perhaps even an event you will look forward to. The patient experience was to be fun and memorable especially for the children with a custom tree mural, koi fish pond and leather animal ottomans to sit on. A circular placement of the operatories surrounding the central sterilization creates an efficient and productive space for all users. A love of wood is obvious in the finish selections, complimented by a lively palette of bright green and orange. A rear staff room with fridge, microwave, dishwasher and laundry facilities is tucked in the corner with exterior access. With a current busy practice the overseeing of the construction was difficult for the doctor. A bold palette for the furnishings at reception, within the offices and in the staff room is one more element of the bold personality this clinic and doctor has. Our project administration services commenced following the design completion and tender award. The objective of these services is to act as the owners representative and advocate for the owner. Attending weekly site meetings, owner information relay and follow up lead to a successful completion of this new dental clinic.
